BREEAM 'Outstanding' buildings represent top-tier sustainability, with less than 1% of UK non-domestic buildings reaching this level. Taxi House, located on the Grand Union Canal, will feature 332 residential units with amenities like a wellness center, restaurant, cinema, and breakout spaces.
The design includes a new public space extending to the waterfront, with retail, café, and performance areas, offering public access to the canal for the first time. Initially targeting BREEAM 'Excellent', the project team raised sustainability goals to achieve BREEAM 'Outstanding'.
