Carbon.Climate.Certified are working with Tide Construction to assess a new Build to Rent scheme located in Walthamstow against BRE's Home Quality Mark. The proposed scheme will consist of 495 high-quality homes, across two buildings of 34 and 26 storeys. Shared internal and external amenity spaces are to be located at ground, first, second and 33rd floors.

The Build to Rent model promotes the majority of amenity spaces being provided in communal areas in support of the ethos that residents are renting the whole building. All communal amenity spaces are for the use of all residents and are designed with flexibility in mind, enabling them to suit a variety of uses.

Buildings A and B will be tied together at second floor by a shared residential garden space. The podium garden will offer a lush, green setting with spaces for reading, relaxing and play, providing health and wellbeing benefits for residents.

Tide Construction will deliver the scheme, using its Vision modular system. Carbon.Climate.Certified are working with the design team and contractor to achieve the targeted HQM rating. When complete, all the homes will be designed and assessed to HQM ‘4.5 stars’.
