Taxi House in Westminster is a landmark canal-side development by Cheyne Capital, providing 332 BREEAM 'Outstanding' homes alongside a wellness centre, restaurant, cinema, and vibrant communal spaces.
Details
Taxi House is a new mixed-use co-living development that delivered 332 modern apartments and opened in June 2025. Located on the Grand Union Canal in Westbourne Park, the scheme has transformed the former Taxi Drivers’ Association HQ.
The development features extensive amenity spaces, including social and work areas, a communal dining space, a cinema room and a wellness area with a swimming pool and gym studio. It also enhances amenities for the wider community, offering workspaces and a canal-side restaurant.
As both BREEAM Assessor and BREEAM AP, Taxi House was certified as the first Co-living scheme to be awarded BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ at Design Stage. The scheme is also targeting a BREEAM In-Use ‘Outstanding’ rating, which assesses the building’s performance in operation.
