UK Green Building Council

We are proud members of the UK Green Building Council. We align and support UKGBC in its primary aims;

Promoting Sustainability: UKGBC aims to promote sustainability within the built environment. This involves encouraging practices that reduce environmental impact, such as energy efficiency, use of sustainable materials, and minimizing waste.

Advancing Green Building Practices: UKGBC works to advance green building practices by providing guidance, resources, and tools to industry professionals. This includes promoting the adoption of green building certifications like BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

Driving Innovation: UKGBC aims to drive innovation in the construction industry by fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among industry stakeholders. This involves exploring new technologies, materials, and design approaches that can enhance the sustainability and performance of buildings.

Influencing Policy: UKGBC advocates for policies and regulations that support sustainable building practices. They engage with government bodies and policymakers to promote the adoption of policies that encourage energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and sustainable development.

Raising Awareness: UKGBC works to raise awareness among the public, industry professionals, and policymakers about the importance of sustainability in the built environment. This involves organizing events, campaigns, and educational initiatives to highlight the benefits of green building practices and inspire action.

In joining the UKGBC movement we are actively supporting their mission to improve the sustainability of the built environment by transforming the way it is planned, designed, constructed, maintained, repurposed, and operated.
