A 337-unit co-living scheme in Hackney Wick, designed by Morris + Company, blending community, heritage and sustainability across two buildings and vibrant public space led by Halcyon Development Partners. It reflects the site’s history as the Clarnico Works Confectionery Factory, aligning with the Hackney Wick Central Masterplan’s vision.

Challenge

To support planning for a large-scale, character-sensitive development that aligns with the Hackney Wick Central Masterplan, while meeting ambitious sustainability, heritage and community integration goals.

Outcome & Solution

We provided BREEAM Assessor and Accredited Professional support from project brief to Concept Design Stage. We also delivered the Whole Life Carbon Assessment and Circular Economy Statements required for planning submission.
