Located close to the new high street, Merchant Street, and the main public space, Neighbourhood Square, it offers excellent connectivity. Residents will be just a three-minute walk from Brent Cross West station, with direct access to St Pancras International in as little as 12 minutes.

Challenge

Identify opportunities for carbon reduction during the early design stages of a high-density urban residential development.

Outcome & Solution

We were appointed to undertake a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and options appraisal for Plot 23. The assessment focused on major building elements including the foundations, structure and façade. This enabled the project team to identify carbon hotspots and make informed, sustainable design choices. As a result, a potential carbon saving of 320 tonnes of CO₂e was identified.
