RIBA Stage 1+

Situated at the core of one of Europe’s most ambitious regeneration initiatives, Plot 23 will play a key role in the Brent Cross Town masterplan, bringing the innovative co-living housing model to the area. Located along Brent Terrace and currently used as a car park, the BREEAM 'Outstanding' development will deliver 352 co-living rooms designed to foster community and enrich the lives of both residents and neighbours through thoughtfully integrated amenity spaces.
Details
Designed by AHMM, the scheme prioritises both communal living and individual wellbeing, offering a vibrant mix of shared spaces. Ground and lower-ground floors will feature areas for events, communal gatherings, a fully equipped gym, and co-working spaces – all designed to support an active and engaged lifestyle.
At brief stage, we were appointed to undertake a Whole Life Carbon Assessment for Plot 23, including early stage carbon optioneering - this is a key focus of the Halcyon / Related Argent ESG Strategy. The assessment focused on major building elements including the foundations, structure and façade. This enabled the project team to identify carbon hotspots and make informed, sustainable design choices. As a result, a potential carbon saving of 320 tonnes of CO₂e was identified.
Our appointment is ongoing, and we continue to support the project through delivery to ensure that the client's sustainability objectives are effectively implemented on site.
