The University of Exeter’s new purpose-built student accommodation, developed by UPP, achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification, featuring 1,182 high-quality bedrooms, shared spaces, and integrated biodiversity enhancements.
Challenge
Designing a sustainable, community-oriented campus that aligns with the University’s environmental values, providing student accommodation that supports wellbeing while meeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standards.
Outcome & Solution
We supported UPP, Stride Treglown Architects, and Vinci in achieving BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification. This collaboration marks our fourth successful student accommodation project with UPP, contributing to over 2,500 certified student bedrooms, with ongoing projects planned with Durham University.
