Social value refers to the positive impact an organisation or development generates for society and the broader community through its activities, operations, and relationships. It goes beyond traditional financial measures and considers the non-monetary contributions that businesses and other entities make to improve the well-being of individuals, communities, and the environment.
We work collaboratively with organisations and developers to create impactful social value strategies built around the Wellby (Wellbeing-Adjusted Life Year) framework - an evidence-based approach that monetises social outcomes and demonstrates tangible community benefit. Our strategies are further grounded in the National TOMs Framework and aligned with local and national planning policy requirements, ensuring commitments are measurable, reportable, and meet the expectations of local planning authorities. Working closely with each client, we develop a clear set of social value commitments that reflect their organisational vision, respond to local needs, and are deliverable throughout the project lifecycle.
