Senior Sustainability Consultant

We are looking for a big fish to make a splash in our leading Sustainability focused organisation. We have been providing award winning carbon focused consultancy and environmental accreditation services to the UK industry and globally for over 20 years. As we expand our bandwidth, locations, and network we have opportunities for leaders and experienced consultants to join our dynamic team

At the beginning of March our Leeds headquarters will be moving centrally to the Leeds Docks area. We are ideally looking for candidates who live within a reasonable commute or are willing to relocate. As we continue with our expansion plans, we are further developing our working locations and environments, so please get in touch if you think you are up for the challenge.

Responsibilities involve:  

  • Front line management and delivery of innovative sustainability solutions on our projects 

  • Leadership of a dedicated and capable team of sustainability consultants with autonomy and freedom to impress leadership styles

  • Key input and decision making into our business operations, resourcing and service delivery.

  • Managing relationships with clients and project delivery.

  • Coordination of meetings / site visits to projects, client sites and operating bases

  • Input into project delivery procedures, developing company protocols and set standards

  • Keeping up to date with innovative sustainability initiatives

  • Contributing to an enjoyable, environmentally conscious, and high-quality working culture

Who we are looking for:

  • A background in Sustainability for a minimum of 5 years

  • A degree in a relevant subject: Environment, Sustainability, Architecture, equivalent experience also considered

  • IEMA, CIBSE, BREEAM or similar membership (desirable)

  • A knowledge and interest in a range of sustainability issues

  • Strong analytical and processing skills mixed with inter-personal and management skills

  • Attention to detail, and the ability to critique / QA written documents

  • Blue sky thinkers are discretionary but a basis to be part of a creative, outgoing working environment 

  • Strong English language skills (spoken and written)

  • Driving license and access to own vehicle
